Terms of use
Last updated 23 October 2026
The rules for using NoBoost. See also the privacy policy.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us") for using NoBoost: the website, its API and the desktop uploader. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Who can use the service
You must be at least 13. [IF REQUIRED IN YOUR JURISDICTION: If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.] We ask for your birth year before you can upload or use an account. Developer API keys are only for users 18 and over.
3. Accounts, guest sessions and keys
- You can sign in with Steam or Epic, or upload as a guest. Signing in later moves a guest's uploads into the account.
- Keep your session and keys to yourself. Upload keys (for the desktop uploader) can only upload. Developer keys can only read. You can revoke either at any time in Account settings.
- Console players can claim their player by putting a code in their in-game name. Only claim players that are yours.
- You're responsible for what's done with your account and keys.
4. Replays you upload
Only upload replays of matches you played in or were otherwise allowed to save. Replays contain other players' names and gameplay. We show that data under the privacy policy, and every player can ask us to hide or erase theirs.
You keep any rights you have in your replays. By uploading, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and analyse them, to show the resulting stats and match pages, and to use them in anonymised or aggregated form to build rank benchmarks and statistical models (such as expected goals). The licence continues for anonymised and aggregated data after you delete your account.
We may refuse or remove any upload, for example a corrupted file, one from an unsupported game version, or one that breaks these terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- get around rate limits, upload limits, the age check or bot checks (for example by rotating addresses or creating sessions in bulk);
- scrape the site or API beyond what the documented limits allow, or use it to build a competing database of player data;
- probe, attack or disrupt the service, or access data that isn't yours;
- claim a player that isn't you, or make privacy requests about someone else;
- upload malicious or deliberately altered files;
- use the service to harass anyone or to break the law, or the rules of Rocket League, Steam or Epic.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who does, and revoke keys without notice.
6. The API and desktop uploader
- The API is offered as is, within its published rate limits, which we may change. Keep attribution to the site where you show its data. [DECIDE: ANY COMMERCIAL-USE RESTRICTIONS.]
- The desktop uploader reads only Rocket League's replay folder and, if you enable it, the game's official Stats API on your own computer. It sends replay files to us using your upload key. Uninstalling it stops all of this.
7. Stats, ratings and estimates
Ratings, percentiles, expected goals (xG), session insights, estimated ranks and similar figures are statistical estimates from replay data. Features marked beta are still being validated. They can be wrong, and they aren't official Rocket League figures. Don't rely on them for anything important, such as decisions about money or employment.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design and its code belong to us. Rocket League, its rank names and related marks belong to Psyonix LLC and Epic Games, Inc. NoBoost is not affiliated with or endorsed by Psyonix or Epic Games [CONFIRM AGAINST EPIC'S FAN CONTENT POLICY, INCLUDING ANY USE OF RANK EMBLEMS].
9. Other services
Signing in with Steam or Epic, and importing from ballchasing.com, are governed by those services' own terms. We're not responsible for them.
10. Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account or guest session in Account settings. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, for a breach of these terms, or if we stop running it, giving notice where we reasonably can.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. [TO BE WRITTEN FOR YOUR JURISDICTION: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, AND CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED.]
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY]. Disputes go to the courts of [PLACE], except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring them where you live.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll give notice on the site before they take effect, and keep the date above current. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
